lyrics
Under the moon I sleep
My torment ; my future
A wolf among plebeians
Among a flock I creep
What I become in darkness I manifest in light
An outcast astray from their path
The end of humanity is my treacherous desire
I long for the end
Baptism in fire!
A sick heart…
A heart so vile!
A sick heart and vile
A place where I retreat
Days are like the wind... and my exile within reach
Under the moon I am still
To witness such decay god must be dead
Whispers in my ear... the wind brings a creed...
I am a forest and a night of dark trees
He who is not afraid, he will be free
Man is a rope across an abyss
Man is a bridge, cross and you’ll see who the enemy is
Heretic and traitor, always alone
From ashes reborn
No shepard nor herd
No pitiful lives
No meaningless urges
No sense to define
The atmosphere of this album is fantastic. Makes you feel like you're knee-deep in the trenches drenched in mud, filth, sweat, and blood. Truly encapsulates the horrors of World War I, and the fact that the lyrics of some of the songs are taken from old war letters really adds to the authenticity.

Absolutely classic-to-the-core, straight to the point in the vein of early 2000's Dark Funeral and Naglfar, with some Cruelty era CoF thrown in. Nostalgic as all fuck, and I love it. xaphanapraxia
Winter wind blasted atmospheric black metal from the desolate fields of Siberia. Crisp production and an excellent performance. Grima is a must check out for any black metal fan. 8/10 RJ
